$400B Long Equities, Bonds sell off First – Bob Doll
So the boys running Black Rock, have amassed $400B worth of global equities, and have been buying since January. Their prediction for the S&P by year end was 1025 +/- 25 pts.
Here we are. They’ve had a good year.
He was on TV talking his book tonight. My bet is, they are feeling a little over exposed since we’ve passed their target for the year. Let me ask you - a $400B buyer, when he’s done buying, what does he do?
When asked “Everything is rising; oil, gold, stocks, bonds - which sells off first?”. I stopped elipticalling and yelled at the TV….”BONDS, BONDS, BONDS!”…Bob then chimes in with a more sophisticated version of my answer.
