Today, I got a strange e-mail, I imagine this story will unfold in the very near future. It could be fake, but there’s a 20% chance it’s real.
Joeseph Dowling, famed for collapsing Narragansett, a billion dollar hedge fund - then going surfing, sent me an e-mail. He and his associate Andrew Griffiths are asking for my help setting up a new fund. He’s “looking for analysts” and “likes Canadian Engineers”. Apparently, he reads BlueMoat - that was when I was like - “No way, you’re pulling my leg”.
Stay tuned for further developments. I’m sure there will be an entertaining e-mail chain out of it.
